Who are we?

It doesn’t matter. We don’t think who we are has any bearing on what we want to say.

What are we?

We’re concerned. We’re pissed off.  We have no religion, and we’re angry that people who do are privileged and must have allowances made for them.  We started this site to record our moans and thoughts on this and related subjects.

Why?

We first discussed creating this website in a drunken conversation in late 2005. More recent events have prompted us to have a go at bringing it to life. It’s a creative project, but it also helps vent our frustrations with more conventional protesting which rarely go beyond vacuous soundbiting.  Whilst it is the traditional lot of the atheist to keep quiet and get on with life, we want to provide an uncompromising clarification of our personal views. If others find this interesting, offensive or maybe even inspirational, we’ll be pleased.

Our site

The site’s still under construction, but have a look around. We’ve got a series of mini-essays planned on a range of subjects from faith schools and creationism to George Bush and religious freedoms.  Sometimes we might present a rant about something in the news which gets our goat. We also reserve the right to jump on the soapbox for a quick burst of outrage on any number of subjects.  As we’re new to website publishing, we can’t guarantee any of it will be slick or pretty. But that’s not why we’re here!
